We had an exasperating 4 day sail from Marquesas to Tuamotus, with light winds and most of the time and heavy downpours and lightning toward the end of the crossing. But, arriving in the Tuamotus made it all worthwhile Tuamotus are a chain of atolls that stretch over an area the size of western Europe.
